Matthew Roman, MSW, LICSW, Health Center Director

Masters of Social Work from New York University and expertise in child and family behavioral health and HIV/AIDS. Won the first annual “Excellence in Social Work Research” Award from New York University School of Social Work.

Caissa Troutman

Caissa Troutman, MD, Medical Director

Family Physician. Residency at Penn State University, Good Samaritan Hospital Family and Community Medicine where she was named “Exceptional Preceptor for Interns” and received the University’s “Exceptional Teacher Award.”

Amato Polselli

Amato Polselli, MD

Pediatrician for infants, children and adolescents. Twenty-one years experience in private practice with residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. Professional interests include neonatal intensive care, infectious diseases and behavioral and developmental pediatrics.

Steven Busselen

Steven Busselen, MD

Specialty in Family Medicine. Graduate of Temple University School of Medicine and Brown University Family Medicine Residency.

Michelle Blade

Michelle Blade, MSN, FNP-C, CHM

Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife. Masters of Science in Nursing from Emory University. Experience in private practice and as a nursing instructor at Rhode Island College. Previous employment in a free-standing birthing center, emergency room and health clinics.

Linnea Turgeon

Linnea Turgeon, RD, LD, CDE, CDOE, CVDOE

Health Disparities and Education Coordinator. Registered and Licensed Dietitian with twenty-five years experience in nutrition education and assessment for people with diabetes and chronic diseases. Dietetic internship at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Suzanne E. Lowe, CNM

Over ten years experience as a Certified Nurse-Midwife. Provides prenatal and gynecology services, family planning, deliveries, and post-partum care. Sue has delivered over 1,000 babies. She has a BS in Nursing from Rhode Island College and earned her Nurse-Midwifery Certification at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA>

Stephen Thomas

Stephen Thomas, DDS

Twenty-five years in private practice. Graduated from Marquette University with a BS in Biology and from the New York University School of Dentistry.

Laurie Hochman, LICSW, Behavioral Health Clinician

Ten years experience in the mental health field with experience working with children and adolescents in group homes, providing home-based treatment to at-risk youth, leading groups for young adults, counseling in an outpatient setting, and working in a substance abuse hospital. BS in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and MSW from Boston University.

Suzanne Jacobs, MSW, LICSW

Twenty-five years experience in social work with specialties in women’s health, medical social work, domestic violence, adolescents and families. On the faculty of the Alperin Medical School at Brown University. MSW from University of Washington, Seattle, WA.

Cecile Tetreault, LICSW, LCDP

Twenty-five years experience in mental health and substance abuse fields working in schools, hospitals, social service agencies, community action agencies and private practice. MSW from Boston College – Presidential Scholarship Award.
