Women, Infants and Children Nutritional Program
Provides monthly food vouchers to purchase nutritious foodstuffs including milk, eggs, cheese, iron fortified cereals, juice. Monthly Nutrition Education and Counseling services provided by Certified and Licensed Dieticians. Statewide for pregnant and parenting women with infants and children under the age of 5 years. Sites in Johnston and Burrillville.

Breastfeeding Peer Counseling
Provides information about methods of infant feeding. The ultimate goal is to provide the education and support necessary to increase both the rates and duration of the nursing experience. All WIC eligible clients with pre-weaned children.
